As a brief interlude on the way to Chapter 2, the wonderfully dramatic ‘der Dunkelheit / my Vertigo’ does not only bridge the waiting time but also significantly heightens the tension, as two truly extraordinary new songs await us here. ‘der Dunkelheit’, as the title suggests, builds up a sombre, almost meditative atmosphere to draw you into its dark world, while ‘my Vertigo’ highlights Diary of Dreams’ more electronic, powerful and catchy side. 2 songs, 2 worlds – available on Digipak CD and, for the first time ever, on 7” marbled vinyl, strictly limited to 700 copies. You’ll also be able to hear these new songs live on the November tour and, of course, on all streaming platforms … until the 2nd chapter of the open-ended concept series will be released in 2027.
